Uses and dosing

Single dose of 150 mg for vaginal candidiasis is possible in pregnant women. Still the alternative treatments should be considered due to existing risks of miscarriage in pregnant women.
Lactating women belong to the category which is also at risk because Fluconazole enters the breast milk and can be potentially harmful for a nursing baby.
Diflucan side effects
Common side effects noticed after the medicine is taken can be any of the following: abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and headache, rash. Infrequent are the side effects causing gastrointestinal symptoms like decrease in appetite or taste disturbance.
